Hyderabad, Oct 11 (NSS): The launch of WorkFusion a US-based product development organization took place today at Le Meridien Gachibowli Hotel.
Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary for IT and Industries attended the event and congratulated the WorkFusion team. He said that around 10 to 15 years ago, many global organizations initially established their operations in Hyderabad to test the waters, but eventually gained confidence and started expanding their teams and investments. . He also mentioned that the BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) space has grown tremendously in Hyderabad, contributing to 1/3 of the entire Indian BFSI industry. Government practices, growth in infrastructure, support for discipline of regulatory issues and sensitivity to deliverables, innovation and digital transformation have attracted many global players and brought changes to the phase of IT investments in Hyderabad.
He also said that Telangana government has witnessed steady growth in IT, contributing 1/3 of its share in India’s IT industry which has a major workforce of 1,50,000. He invited the management of WorkFusion to work jointly with the BFSI consortium and TASK in skills development and artificial intelligence initiatives.
Jayesh also pointed out that WorkFusion has partnered with the new Center of Excellence created by the Telangana government in association with Nasscom to enable artificial intelligence in various departments.
On this occasion Adam FamularoChief Executive Officer (CEO), WorkFusion said the company employs about 100 professionals in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and core IT technologies. The organization has pledged to employ about 500 professionals in Hyderabad over the next few years.
Alexy Vitashkevich, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of the company said that Hyderabad is a promising place for software companies to launch and set up their research and development centers. Mr. Aswanth Goka, HR Manager of the company, mentioned that the company is committed to absorbing eligible talent and working to maintain the Telangana brand on the global stage.
