Bhubaneswar: Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will host its second edition of the 2-day Techno-Product Management festival, TeXLence starting tomorrow December 4th. The event in association with SBI is organized by SOCRATES and ProdUX and will focus on the theme “DRIFT:. The event will run in hybrid mode with a plethora of online and offline events.

The event aims to celebrate the boom in technical management and products that India has to offer by providing an engaging and interactive platform to key stakeholders. TeXLence 2021 will feature over 10 events ranging from multiple case contests, product teardowns, product management quizzes and fun events. The CXOs of the largest companies, including the Managing Director of the State Bank of India (Ashwini Tewari), Dy. CEO – Center of Excellence, Vedanta (Vineet Jaiswal), Director of Engineering at Intel Corporation (Balpreet Singh), CEO of IndianOil – Adani Gas Pvt. Ltd. (Rajiv Sikka) and many more will be part of the CXO Conclave. The event will also host product management workshops by industry veterans working at Microsoft, Media.net. & TelephonePe.

The campus, after a 2-year period of Covid restrictions, will finally open for its first offline event, Sumit Sourav’s Standup Comedy at the Tata Auditorium.

Shubham Dhoble, the general head of the technical committee of XLRI (SOCRATES), said the challenge is to organize a physical event while keeping all the COVID-19 rules in mind. “Last year it was completely online. This year, however, we’re trying a hybrid version; for all external events, we will need to host a virtual platform.

The CXO Summit will see top business leaders deliver their take on how immersive technology shapes and transforms their businesses. Other events include PM Workshop, Prodigi 2.0 (PM School Case Competition), Imperium, Bamboozled, Lez Quizzerables, Antagon etc.

Commenting on the ongoing pandemic, Shubham assured that all Covid guidelines will be followed and masks will be distributed free of charge to ensure safety.
