Teledyne Marine announced that it has appointed Pim Kuus to the newly created position of Senior Hydrographer and Product Manager for Teledyne RESON echosounders.
Based in the UK, Pim joins Teledyne Marine after having worked for Teledyne RESON for seven years as Hydrographic Specialist, Site Engineering Manager and Global Training Manager. Having spent the last two years working as a Project Surveyor for Fugro in Aberdeen, Pim also has valuable overseas experience for Van Oord, Rijkswaterstaat, C&C Technologies (now Oceaneering) and for the Geological Survey of Canada (GSC). With a B.Sc. in Geomatics from NHL Stenden University, Pim studied at the University of New Brunswick, where he studied under the direction of renowned multibeam systems expert, Dr. John Hughes Clarke, where he obtained a master’s degree in engineering. in geodesy and geomatics engineering in 2008.
