LOGAN – A senior exhibit by students involved in Outdoor Product Design and Development (OPDD) from Utah State University will highlight the work done during the entire year, or even the last four years of the program undergraduate.

Program coordinator Chase Anderson was a guest on KVNU’s For the People program on Tuesday, saying it could be considered their main thesis.

“They take all the skills they’ve learned over the four years and funnel them into a capstone project. It’s a thesis without being a thesis,” he said.

Anderson said their program is very convenient for enrolled students.

“That’s one of the main goals of our program, to help students learn how to become visual communicators and how to use different skills and tools to communicate their ideas,” he explained. “We think all the students in our program have problems they want to solve, they have ideas in their minds they want to bring to life, but sometimes you’re limited by your understanding of the different tools.”

The expo will take place on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the TSC Sunburst Lounge on campus. You can learn more about the program at opdd.usu.edu.
