HAMBURG, Germany — MEYLE has a long-standing connection to motorsport, as it plays a key role in product development, particularly as a testing ground in real-world conditions.

The Hamburg parts manufacturer, including brake system components, will continue its sponsorship of the T3 Motorsport and SL Trucksport 30 teams for the coming season, as well as its support of Christian Riedemann in the German Rally Championship.

In addition to T3 Motorsport lining up in the ADAC GT Masters, the racing team from Dresden is taking part in the DTM Trophy for the first time in an Audi R8 LMS GT4. Here, drivers can rely on the expertise of MEYLE engineers.

A particular highlight for MEYLE is its continued support of the Opel e-Rally junior team for a new season, as well as the demonstration that motorsport and sustainability can go hand in hand.

T3 Motorsport: MEYLE’s main commitment continues

MEYLE engineers are back on the starting grid this year and will bring their knowledge and expertise from the race track to the company’s parts development unit. Every kilometer driven on the track generates valuable data which is essential for the continuous development and optimization of the MEYLE product range.

MEYLE has been collaborating for many years with the T3 Motorsport team based in Dresden. As in recent years, the collaboration with T3 Motorsport in the ADAC GT Masters is central to the sponsorship efforts.

A first in the collaboration this year is the support of the Audi R8 LMS GT4 in the DTM Trophy. The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo will also take part in the ADAC GT Masters for T3 for the second consecutive year. Both vehicles feature an all-new striking MEYLE design. The drivers are already in place: Max Paul remains the MEYLE brand ambassador and will be supported by none other than Lamborghini works driver Marco Mapelli. Together, they will form a top-flight duo, who will be hoping for plenty of podium finishes for T3 at this year’s races.

André Huschke, Head of Product Management, Engineering & Data Management at MEYLE, is looking forward to the coming season.

“MEYLE’s experienced engineers will be on hand to support the T3 Motorsport team, providing the optimum conditions for a perfectly tuned vehicle and paving the way for maximum performance,” said Huschke. To view the full announcement, click HERE.
