Chillhouse is looking to hire a passionate, career-focused paid intern who wants to dive deep into the world of product development, web D2C management, and wholesale channel building.

We want to partner with someone who has a keen interest in learning behind the scenes of how products are made, from concept to launch. They should also be eager to learn how brands are building and growing their daily e-commerce channel and wholesale partnerships with major retailers like Urban Outfitters, Revolve, ASOS, and more.

We immediately want to find the right New York-based candidate for this 6-month paid/credited internship that has the potential to become a full-time position. The role ideally starts in August or September. Hours are MF (10am-5pm EST) with hybrid work hours from the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and home (Monday, Friday).


About Chill House:

Based in the Soho district of New York, Cold room creates self-care treatments for a chiller through in-store experiences and services, as well as products. Chillhouse is committed to creating a cooler world by donating 1% of proceeds to support mental health advocacy and efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties (includes but not limited to):

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
● Assist in communication with factories, warehouses, freight forwarders, sales representatives and various internal departments.
● Coordinate shipments and track production orders to maintain on-time delivery.
● Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.
● Help track and update all “work in progress” project deliverables.

COMM AND WHOLESALE OPERATIONS
● Help create, maintain and update Chillhouse PDP pages in Shopify.
● Compiled or updated certain data sets related to forecast demand planning.
● Coordinated bulk order entry and sample shipments from suppliers.
● Partner with retailers and 3PL warehouse to help book and track orders for on-time delivery.
● Participated in daily supplier configuration requests related to new partnerships or new launches with existing partners.
● Troubleshoot shipping and delivery issues.

Qualifications:
● Passionate about the beauty and wellness industry.
● Entry-level New York-based candidates with a high school diploma or college experience.
● Ideally available to start in July or August 2022.
● Available to work MF (10am-5pm EST). Reception hours from Monday to Friday. Office hours from Wednesday to Thursday.
● Comfortable using and/or ready to quickly learn different systems used across multiple channels including: Shopify, Google Workspace, Canva, Cin7 (OMS/EDI) and other vendor portals/systems for procurement and execution.
● Exceptional multi-tasker and able to see projects through from ideation to completion. Must be organized, thorough, resourceful and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once to meet tight deadlines.
● Autonomous, empathetic and collaborative, communication proficient and possessing strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management, cross-functional teams and suppliers
● Professional and positive demeanor.
● Good judgment, maintaining confidentiality of information.
